I feel the warmth of the sun touching my skin
As I stare out the car window
Softly breathing
Watching the window fog over
Blurring my vision of the outside world
Down the road we go for awhile
Hitting bumps, taking turns
It starts to sprinkle
Ever so lightly
Water running like tears
The longer we drive
The more I tire
It seems forever to get there
How bad I want out
Maybe I could take a nap
And when I wake we would be there
But just as I begin to sleep
Falling into a peaceful dream
The car slows to a stop
As I wake
Now not wanting to leave
I look outside my window
And see a wondrous sight
I see we have arrived
